Are you already a fan of my new peanut and chocolate energy balls? Personally, I find them decadent, while still being nutritious!

As an informed consumer, you have undoubtedly paid attention to the list of ingredients in my new product. Were you surprised to find the word Sugars first? I explain to you!

Since the changes made to food labeling, we have wanted to simplify the consumer's task so that they can quickly identify the sugars present in a product. In doing so, we must now group in parentheses, following the word Sugars, all the sugars used to compose the product, in descending order of weight. In this category, we now find fruit puree, i.e. dried date puree which mainly makes up my new product.

We agree that the differences between date puree and simple added sugar are numerous! Date puree is a natural product that provides fiber and also contains minerals essential for overall health. But, hey, the legislation does not spare any company in the agri-food sector, we must comply with it!
